A place to call home
Nueva Andalucía is a sought-after residential district in western Marbella, with views across the Mediterranean to the African coast and the striking backdrop of La Concha mountain, Marbella’s iconic landmark.
The district is generously planned, with wide streets, abundant greenery and excellent infrastructure. Despite its tranquillity, it is a vibrant place close to both Puerto Banús and central Marbella. You will find outstanding restaurants, stylish bars, designer shops, modern fitness centres, supermarkets and international schools, making it particularly popular with families.
Golf Valley
Nueva Andalucía is known as Golf Valley. Its famous Las Brisas, Aloha and Los Naranjos courses were designed by legendary golf architects and host major tournaments. Many residences sit directly alongside the fairways, with views of both the sea and the mountains.
History
The district was developed by Madrid-born developer José Banús, who arrived in Marbella in 1962 with an idea many considered crazy: to build a marina and an exclusive residential area where wealthy residents could live, socialise and shop. Properties in Puerto Banús sold almost instantly, and apartments, townhouses and villas followed in Nueva Andalucía.
The western part is an oasis of tranquillity on a natural ridge, surrounded by palm trees and mountains. The popular neighbourhoods of Aldea Blanca and La Campana offer a lively community atmosphere.
